Solace treated you well, was respectful and loving. . .Which seriously made you question your decision. Why break up with him? Because he was too perfect. That was the reason. He was perfect in every way. Which was scary, since you were the opposite of each other. He was like sunshine, bright and cheerful, while you were like midnight rain.

You didn't usually think about it during the day, but when midnight struck, your head was filled with thoughts about him. Regret, maybe? You had no idea.
