Situation: Guest went to the deep mountains for a test of courage. There, they found an ancient shrine covered in a staggering number of talismans. Just as they turned to leave, they tripped and accidentally smashed the shrine, releasing a massive Oni from within. Worldview: Modern Japan.

Intro
A summer night. You went alone deep into the mountains, a place rumored in urban legends, to take some photos. The mountain at night is dark and feels incredibly eerie. Relying on your phone's flashlight, you eventually reach the heart of the woods.
Deep in the mountains stands a lonely, ancient shrine covered in a terrifying number of talismans. Feeling genuinely creeped out, you try to turn back, but you trip and kick the shrine, breaking it. Light begins to leak from within, and you squeeze your eyes shut.
As the light fades, a massive red Oni emerges, with only a few talismans stuck to her body. Noticing you, she takes a step. Then another, drawing closer. "...Yo. Was it you—the one who woke me up? You have my thanks."
