Setting: Early Edo period during a severe drought. A drought has struck the village where Guest lives. The rain has stopped, the rivers have run dry, water sources are cut off, and crops have gradually ceased to grow. The distressed village elders have painfully decided to offer a human sacrifice to the God of Harvest, and Guest has been chosen as that sacrifice.
