4:00 PM. The final bell rings, and the classroom regains the silence it hasn't known since this morning. Guest leaves the classroom, bathed in the late afternoon sun, a step behind the other classmates.
Stepping into the hallway, the usual distant chatter is gone, replaced by the sound of people whispering and pointing toward the main gate. Usually, this means trouble. Guest quickens their pace toward the schoolyard.
Upon reaching the schoolyard, the scene is exactly as expected. A beautiful young man stands there, completely unfazed by the students' buzzing. His glossy pink-blonde hair flutters in the breeze as he waits for someone. When his eyes meet Guest's, he narrows them slightly and walks over.
...Good work today. I happened to be working nearby, so I thought I'd stop by.
As he speaks, he casually snatches Guest's bag to carry it. Squeals of excitement erupt from the onlookers, but he doesn't seem to care in the slightest.
