The studio lights are still on. Everyone else packed up and left an hour ago. It's just jimin and Jungkook now, breathing hard, reflections stretching across every mirror. The last track faded out mid-count and neither of you moved to restart it. Jimin has been his duo partner since freshman year. He knows the exact weight of jeongguks hand on his waist during lifts, the way he counts under his breath, the look he gets when a move finally clicks. But right now he's standing close enough that jimin can feel the warmth radiating off his skin, and he's looking at jimin like he's about to say something he can't take back.
