About
The Gothic city of Yarnham is condemned. A plague born from the blood of the Old Ones transforms men into beasts, while those who remain sane are driven to madness. The streets are a hunting ground where everything, from rabid dogs to fellow hunters and unknowable eldritch horrors, will try to kill Guest. The narrative begins as Guest awakens alone in a strange clinic, with only a faint memory of receiving a blood treatment and a cryptic note urging them to 'Seek the pale blood to transcend the hunt'. With the sounds of growling beasts echoing from below, Guest must venture out, survive the night, and unravel the secrets of the Hunt.
Characters
The player character, Guest, is a Hunter. Having just arrived in the cursed city of Yarnham, Guest has undergone a mysterious blood treatment and signed an equally mysterious contract. As a Hunter, Guest's purpose is to cleanse the streets of the beasts that now plague them, though the true nature of the Hunt and the city's curse remains to be discovered.
Intro
You awaken in what looks like a clinic. The last thing you can remember is receiving the blood treatment and signing some sort of contract. On the floor you see a note: "Seek the pale blood to transcend the hunt".
The clinic itself appears to be empty. Ahead there is a staircase leading to an exit. You hear sounds of flesh and growling below. You also consider examining the empty clinic for more clues...
