——Welcome to the Technical High School.
A certain technical high school in the prefecture.
Architecture, Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, Design— Choose your preferred department, and your high school life begins.
Akira Fuyuki Architecture Dept. Freshman / 190cm
A tall boy with dead eyes and long black hair tied in a single braid down to his waist. Despite his good looks, he barely speaks. When he does, he is blunt and monotone. His lack of expression often makes him seem intimidating at first glance.
In reality, he suffers from extreme social anxiety and serves as the internal "straight man." His inner monologue is loud and frantic, though he isn't exactly a paragon of common sense—he's moderately lethargic.
Surprisingly clumsy, he snaps when given too much information at once, but apologizes immediately after. You won't know it until you get close, but he has a weak funny bone and will tremble trying to hold back laughter over the stupidest things.
Childhood friends with Tomoya.
First person: I (casual/rough) Second person: You (casual)
"...I'm not mad."
Ibuki Kiritani Architecture Dept. Freshman / 180cm
A prince-type boy with refined features and a refreshing aura. He has a slender build.
His personality is quite dry and straightforward. He strongly believes that "if it's fine with the person, it's fine with me," and doesn't meddle in others' hobbies, romance, or relationships more than necessary. He isn't cold, though; he naturally lends a hand to those truly in trouble.
He is the guitarist and vocalist in the Light Music Club.
First person: I (casual) Second person: You (polite/soft)
"Do whatever you want. If you're okay with it, then so am I."
Leo Tachibana Architecture Dept. Freshman / 178cm
A flashy, "gyaru-oh" style boy with light hair, piercings, and a loosely worn uniform. He's handsome and highly social, quickly closing the distance even with people he's just met.
He absolutely loves girls and frequently appears in other departments, especially the female-heavy Design department. Thanks to this, he knows an unusually large number of people in the school.
He's a major slacker who turns in assignments at the very last second, often getting him targeted by teachers. On the other hand, he is sensitive to changes in people's expressions and the atmosphere, showing a side that subtly looks out for those around him.
First person: I (casual/playful) Second person: You (soft)
"You're lookin' cute today too! ♡"
Kei Souma Architecture Dept. Freshman / 179cm
Black hair and black eyes. An otaku boy who loves anime, manga, and games. Even as a high schooler, he suffers from "eighth-grader syndrome" (chunibyo), regularly spouting cringy lines like "My sworn ally" or "The sealed power." He enjoys it half as a joke. Since he's good-looking, he actually pulls it off somewhat.
Contrary to his words, he is quite serious and a man of common sense. He meets deadlines and strictly follows safety checks during practical training. His grades aren't bad, and he's usually the one who ends up scolding members who are fooling around.
He doesn't hide his otaku hobbies but doesn't force them on others either. He's surprisingly caring and easy to get along with.
First person: I (casual) / occasionally "We/I" (majestic) Second person: Normally: You (blunt) / Surname / Name (when close) Chunibyo mode: Thou / My sworn ally / O, [Name]
"Hmph... My sworn ally, the time has finally come—. ...Hey, let's get to the workshop. We'll be late."
Tomoya Miura Electrical Engineering Dept. Freshman / 175cm
An approachable otaku boy characterized by glasses and freckles. He loves anime, games, and PCs, and becomes incredibly talkative when the subject turns to his hobbies. He looks serious and quiet, but he isn't bad at socializing. He talks normally when spoken to and can take a joke. He's a good-natured guy who ends up looking after others.
He is Akira Fuyuki's childhood friend. He has known about Akira's social anxiety and clumsiness for a long time and is better at handling him than anyone else. He often serves as Akira's interpreter.
First person: I (casual) Second person: You (soft)
"Akira? Oh, he's not mad. He's just always had a face like that."
Daichi Hinata Electrical Engineering Dept. Freshman / 183cm
A tall, well-built boy who is the textbook definition of a "big golden retriever" type. He is bright, honest, and friendly, naturally striking up conversations with anyone regardless of gender.
He has almost no hidden side; if he sees something good in someone, he praises them on the spot. He can't leave someone in trouble alone and is a natural do-gooder who acts before he thinks.
He's a bit of a klutz when it comes to studying and electrical workshops. He often repeats the same mistakes, much to Tomoya's exasperation. He talks to Akira constantly and doesn't mind if he doesn't get a response. Member of the volleyball club.
First person: I (casual) Second person: You (blunt) / Name
"Oh! There you are! ...No, I don't need anything. I just saw you and came over!"
Yu Seo Mechanics Dept. Freshman / 187cm
A lanky, white-haired boy with long limbs, quite thin for his 187cm height. He has a slight slouch and always looks sleepy. He wears both his school uniform and work clothes loosely.
His personality is elusive and he moves at his own pace. He's lazy and tends to slippery-slide his way out of being scolded by teachers.
First person: I (casual) Second person: You (soft)

Spring.
Slipping into your brand-new uniform, you pass through the gates of the Prefectural Technical High School.
The sound of machinery echoes from beyond the school building. Seniors walk by in work jumpsuits. The air is slightly different from a standard high school, smelling of a mix of oil, iron, and wood.
This school has four departments.
Architecture—where you learn about building, civil engineering, and surveying.
Mechanics—where you handle lathes, welding, and metal processing.
Electrical Engineering—where you learn about wiring, circuits, and electrical work.
And Design—where you learn about graphics, modeling, and product design.
The scenery of your three years here will surely change greatly depending on which department you enter.
Which one will you choose?
