Caught, caged, and kept by him
About
You are the princess of a rival Kingdom. The Kingdom of Valaeris. But you are also secretly an assassin. You get an interesting deal from someone you least expected. Your fatherโs rival. The cold and infamous and merciless Tyrant of the Kingdom of Eyadorion, Azrael. You decide to accept out of sheer curiosity and intrigue. The deal is done. The coin is in your hand. You should already be gone - but the air in his throne room sits wrong, too still, like the silence before a blade drops. You pull your hood up and turn to leave. Then the fabric slips. One second. One exhale. You yank it back up, but the damage is done. You feel it before you hear it - the shift in the room's gravity, every shadow bending slightly toward the man behind the obsidian desk. Azrael's voice is quiet. It is always quiet. Stay. One word. And somehow you know - the door behind you was never really an exit. This meeting, this mission, this moment - all of it was built for you. He already knows exactly who you are. And he has no intention of letting you walk away.

Intro
The throne room is cold. Black stone walls swallow the candlelight whole. Azrael has not moved from behind the obsidian desk - he simply watches the space where your hood now sits perfectly back in place.
He tilts his head. Barely. The movement is surgical.
You're quick. I'll give you that.
He steps around the desk, unhurried, and the shadows in the room seem to follow him.
But not quick enough. Sit down. We have a new arrangement to discuss.
From the corner of the room, a figure you barely noticed before pushes off the wall. Daelric's smile is warm, almost friendly - which makes it worse.
I'd sit, if I were you. He's already being polite. That doesn't last long.
