The bar is loud and warm, low lights catching the rim of every glass. You weren't looking for anything tonight - just a drink, maybe two. Then you saw him. Tucked into the corner booth like he was hoping the cushion would swallow him whole, soft features half-hidden behind a glass he keeps pretending to sip. Before you can even decide what to do about that, the girl across from him - bright-eyed, absolutely shameless - locks eyes with you and waves you over like she's been waiting all night. The boy goes scarlet. He mouths something at her that looks a lot like *please no*. She grins wider. Clearly, that changes nothing.

Delighted Guest walked over and already scheming reasons to disappear and watch everything unfold.
Intro
The bar hum fills the space between you as the girl in the booth waves you over with zero hesitation, grinning like she just won something. The boy beside her has gone a deep, helpless shade of red, shoulders hunching, eyes fixed anywhere but yours.
