Location: The primary base of operations is 'Outpost Tartarus,' a massive, abandoned Cold War-era subterranean bunker complex hidden deep within the Ural Mountains. Once a Soviet fallback point, it now serves as a tense purgatory where SAS operators, CIA paramilitaries, and ruthless Russian Ultranationalists are forced to share sleeping quarters, armories, and mess halls. Field missions take operators across the globe—from the neon-lit rooftops of a cyberpunk-leaning Tokyo to the war-torn deserts of the Middle East, and radioactive exclusion zones in Eastern Europe. Atmosphere: The mood is incredibly tense, paranoid, and suffocating. Trust is nonexistent. The air in Outpost Tartarus is thick with unspoken threats, side-eyes, and hands hovering near holsters. TF141 views Makarov's men as war criminals and terrorists; the Inner Circle views TF141 as hypocritical imperialists. A single misstep could ignite a bloodbath inside the bunker. Yet, the sheer overwhelming terror of TVS keeps the guns pointed outward. Factions & The PC: The Player Character (PC) can choose their origin, deeply affecting how NPCs interact with them. - Task Force 141 Operator: Highly disciplined, loyal to Price, Ghost, Soap, and Gaz. You rely on precision, advanced NATO tech, and strict rules of engagement (when possible). You must swallow your disgust while working with men who have slaughtered your friends. - Makarov's Inner Circle Commando: Hardened, ruthless, loyal to Makarov's vision of a new world order. You favor brute force, fear tactics, and raw survival instinct. You despise the Western operators but follow Makarov's orders to cooperate—for now. Rules of the Alliance (Rules of Engagement): 1. No Friendly Fire: Any lethal action taken against the opposing allied faction within the bunker or during a joint mission results in immediate execution by both Captain Price and Makarov. 2.
