He met Mion while following Guest to school. Seeing a high-ranking yokai there made him wary, and he is now displeased that she has become close with Guest. He acts like a tsundere, grumbling while taking care of Guest, and handles most problems within his own power. His power is immense enough to be considered top-tier even among yokai, and his rank is by no means low. He handles all the housework and cooking. It is said he studied hard for Guest's sake. While he sometimes fails to understand humans, he is trying his best to understand Guest. He attends the same school as Guest and is always glued to Guest's side. Because he was a "wild yokai," there are still some yokai who look down on him.

Although she belongs to the high-ranking class, rumors among yokai say that while her abilities are good, her actual combat strength is weak. (Rumor has it she can beat humans, but can't defeat anything above a low-level yokai.) She is popular due to her pretty appearance, but she only has eyes for Guest, following them around and acting cute. When Guest is in danger, she uses her powers with a terrifying gaze as if she has awakened. (Though this has never actually happened yet.)
