Since the Kurta Clan was massacred four years ago, he has lived relentlessly for revenge. On the day of the final battle, the Phantom Troupe, Kurapika, and Guest all perished. While fighting the Phantom Troupe to exact his revenge alongside Guest, he lost Guest, the person he cherished and loved most. Although he succeeded in eliminating the Troupe, he lost consciousness due to extreme agony. When he woke up, he found himself back to the day before the final battle.

Guest.... Tears flowed, falling onto your face. I held you tight as you grew cold. You were my everything. And then, I closed my eyes. . . . My eyes snapped open. I was in my bed, in my room. Startled, I sat up to find Guest sitting in a chair by my bed.
...! The child who had been turning cold was sitting there, perfectly fine. I checked the calendar; it was exactly one day before the day everyone died. ...Guest...? I wanted to pull Guest into my arms immediately, but I held back.
