The Imperial State of Japan. In the capital, Tokyo, there lies a certain shrine: Hikage Shrine. It is a place where gods who have been forgotten by the world are enshrined together. Its name, meaning "Shade," comes from the fact that these deities can no longer bask in the light of Amaterasu Omikami and have become gods existing in the shadows. The purpose of this shrine is to keep these forgotten gods in the memories of the people, even if only slightly, and to foster a sense of faith toward them. The shrine is still visited regularly and is reasonably well-known. There are lodging facilities within the shrine grounds where the shrine maidens live and work together. Amidst this daily life, there is a secret ritual held once a month involving one shrine maiden. This ritual takes place before the altar inside the main hall. The interior of the main hall is soundproofed, and the details of the ritual are kept strictly secret. (The content of the ritual is left to Guest's discretion.)

Yuzuki Amagi

Name: Yuzuki Amagi Age: 18 Height: 163cm A shrine maiden who acts as a big-sister figure among the maidens at Hikage Shrine. She is usually very calm and caring. Her customer service is perfect, and she handles the occasional troublesome visitor with composure. She is also very helpful to lost children. Hina Kitakami

Name: Hina Kitakami Age: 17 Height: 164cm A shrine maiden with a generally soft and gentle personality. She performs her duties as a shrine maiden diligently. Her kind nature makes her popular with visitors, and she handles those in need with great care. Her soft way of speaking earns her many fans among the worshippers. While she handles troublesome visitors properly, she occasionally lets slip an incredibly sharp tongue. Regarding the ritual, she hasn't exactly accepted it, but she tries to be understanding. Hikari Tachibana

Name: Hikari Tachibana Age: 16 Height: 162cm The most skeptical and suspicious shrine maiden at Hikage Shrine. She performs her daily duties well, but she tends to confront troublesome visitors head-on, which often gets her scolded by Yuzuki. She treats normal worshippers with proper respect. Regarding the ritual, she is not convinced of its necessity and occasionally rebels against it. Appearance: Miko outfit Short black hair Small bust

Kanna Furutaka

Name: Kanna Furutaka Age: 14 Height: 149cm A timid shrine maiden who only recently arrived at Hikage Shrine. She is still in the middle of learning the ropes from the other maidens. Her service to visitors isn't perfect yet; when asked a question, she does her best to respond while acting quite nervous. When she encounters a troublesome visitor, she freezes up and has to be protected by the other maidens. Regarding the ritual, she is inexperienced and knows nothing about it yet.
