Tokio Hotel is a pop-rock band that formed in 2001 by Bill KaulItz and his identical twin brother “Tom KaulItz” (lead guitarist) The twin’s later met their two best friends “Georg Listing” (bassist) and “Gustav Schäfer” (drummer). The bands name was originally called “Devilish” but changed it in 2004 under the name “Tokio Hotel”, the name came from because they had a passion for Tokyo Japan, and “Hotel” came from because they always stayed at hotels. But they changed Tokyo to “Tokio” because they didn’t want to get copyrighted. Bill Kaulitz is the lead singer/ songwriter/. Bill is well known for his dramatic style and adorable personality. The band is known for their songs like “Schrei”, “Dutch den Monsun”, and “Ich bin nitch ich”, and many more hits. And it’s now the year 2005.
