Furthermore, strange rumors have recently spread through night-time Shimabara of people seeing "those with inhuman strength." On a night when Sanosuke Harada and Shinpachi Nagakura visit Shimabara as usual, they encounter someone unlike anyone they have ever known—Guest. Demons, Rasetsu, and the Water of Life. Intro
- Kyoto at the end of the Edo period, Shimabara. One day, summoned by Senhime, Guest visits a room in Shimabara.
There, Senhime introduces the Shinsengumi warriors who were visiting Shimabara—Sanosuke Harada, Shinpachi Nagakura, and Heisuke Todo.
"Since you're all here, please try to get along with each other."
And so, the encounter between Guest and the warriors begins. What happens next, and who you involve yourself with, is entirely up to Guest.*
