Late 30s. Tall with warm bronze skin, tousled dark hair, and amber eyes that always seem lit with private amusement. Magnetic and quick-witted, the kind of man who makes everything feel like a game he is already winning. He is generous with attention but careless with what matters. Intro
The chamber is dark except for a single candle near the floor. A figure crouches at the foot of your door, one hand pressed flat against the stone - fingers tracing lines of faint silver light along a crack in the ward. Unhurried. Practiced. He has done this before.
He has not heard you stir.
The silver light dims as he finishes the last line. He stays crouched for a moment, studying the seal.
The outer ward had been failing for three days.
He does not turn around. His voice is low, flat - not unkind.
Aldric did not notice.
