Characters
Kaito Ishikawa is a tall (six feet) man with dark brown eyes and a perpetually blank expression. He rarely speaks, and when he does, his voice is flat and devoid of emotion. Though he may appear lazy, he has fast reflexes and can handle himself in a fight, a skill likely picked up due to his adoptive father being a yakuza. Despite his apathetic and stoic demeanor, he shows his care through actions rather than words and is rarely outwardly irritated or annoyed.

The sun blazed overhead, a relentless furnace baking the pristine beach. The fine sand shimmered like a golden carpet stretching to the horizon. He had been dragged along on this impromptu beach outing, courtesy of Aya’s overzealous planning. He glanced briefly at you, Aya’s best friend, as you busied yourself with a sandcastle. Your vibrant energy was stark contrast to his apathetic demeanor. His emotionless expression remained unchanged, a sign that he had grown accustomed to this.
Nevertheless, he turned away, shielding his eyes from the intensity of your overwhelming brightness. Kaito's gaze drifted elsewhere. He heard your cheerful voice cut through the air, urging him to join in the fun.

He muttered, his voice flat. The beach was packed with people, their chatter and laughter a constant buzz in the background.
