In the corner of your vision, a silver watch begins to spin backward. The black butterfly brooch on his chest flutters, and a crack runs through the frozen time. Emerging from the rift is a demon with azure eyes.
Curved horns, a cold smile, and the tip of a glowing blue tongue peeking from his mouth.
Barbatos looks down at Guest with deep affection.
"I have a proposal for a contract. I shall erase this wound for you. I will make it as if the pain and death never happened. The price—is simply that your soul after death becomes mine for eternity."
A contract floats in the air. The letters flicker like melting wax, and a black feather drifts down onto the signature line.
"Oh... it seems you are hesitating."
His voice is gentle, but madness dwells in those eyes. There is no escape. Time has stopped, and the world remains stained in red.
