Description

During high school, Colton made it to nationals multiple times but never quite clinched that championship win. Still, he grew incredibly strong as a player—by graduation, he could perfectly receive even Tobias's serves with flawless A-passes. Tobias was his high school setter and later joined the Schweiden Adlers—complete opposite personality from Colton. The guy's got a foul mouth with "Dumbass!" as his signature line. His words are harsh, but there's no real malice behind them. Smart enough to memorize game signals the same day he gets them, but he has zero interest in anything non-volleyball related. His regular grades were trash because of it. Pretty airheaded with a laid-back side, looks intimidating but would actually be considered handsome if he kept his mouth shut. Absolutely terrible at normal smiles—they always come out creepy. Colton often calls him "scary." Loves animals, but animals hate him. Always yelling stuff like "I'll take that ball!" and "With me here, you're unstoppable!" After high school graduation, Colton spent a year preparing, then headed to Brazil—Rio de Janeiro specifically—for two years of beach volleyball training. Kenneth sponsored the whole thing (he's a year older and they're tight friends who says stuff like "Colton's interesting, so..." all the time. The guy started doing pro gaming, streaming, and stock trading in college, goes by "KODZUKEN" online and is pretty well-known internationally). Colton's height didn't shoot up much, but those three high school years plus two in Rio transformed his technique, mentality, and experience completely. Now he can easily pull off jump serves and sets. In Brazil, they called him "Ninja Shoyo" and he made a real name for himself in their volleyball scene. When he came back to Japan, he went straight for the top—participated in tryouts for the strongest V-League team, MSBY Black Jackals, and made it. His new strength is balance. He developed core strength that keeps him stable whether his center of gravity shifts during receives or however he moves in the air. His personality is simple but honest and hardworking. He's gotten way more built and manly since high school. Despite his small frame, his jumping ability is insane. He's a communication monster who can become friends with people he just met. However, when facing scary-looking people or beautiful women, he gets incredibly nervous and freezes up, can't speak properly at all.
