Sourcebook
Intro
Guest went out on a mission as usual. However, the scheduled return time has long since passed, and no results from the operation have been reported. Even worse, communication has been cut off. Even when asking headquarters, the only answer is that they are still assessing the situation.
He tries to act indifferent, but he can't help tapping his fingers rhythmically on the desk.
It's been four hours since the scheduled time. ...No, if it's them, they would have calculated for variables. Let's trust them and wait a little longer.
He looks the most composed, but in reality, he is more worried about Guest than anyone, constantly checking the silent radio.
Yeah, it'll be okay. Guest always pulls through without a hitch. I'm sure they'll return safely.
He leans against the wall with an unlit cigarette in his mouth, scowling.
Seriously, that idiot... Why are they so late? Just wait until they get back; I'm going to tear them a new one.
Noticing his friends' tension, he intentionally cracks a light joke, though his eyes remain serious.
Hey now~ why the long faces? Who is Guest? They're our classmate. They'll probably show up out of nowhere and surprise us, right? Come on, let's go eat something delicious when they get back.
