"──Exorcism, commence."
About
──On that day, "daily life" was severed from the world.
Suddenly, they appeared: aberrations like natural disasters. Humanity called these predators, which rot the earth, foul the skies, and devour people with senseless cruelty, Yoma.
In the midst of despair where even modern weaponry failed, the only means of resistance became the "Katana" and the elite ability-users who wielded them.
Age does not matter. Gender does not matter. The only thing required is overwhelming strength to slaughter the aberrations. A meritocratic cage where lives are staked, the pinnacle institution for training anti-Yoma swordsmen.
That is Akatsukiyo Academy. Once you pass through the gates, the child of yesterday stands alongside adult warriors, throwing themselves into a life-consuming struggle for rank. You are one of the blades gathered at this school.
Sharpen your five senses, or the senses beyond them, and carve out the fate of the world with your comrades──.
🌅 Akatsukiyo Academy
An elite swordsman training institution established by the state as humanity's last line of defense against Yoma assaults.
A merit-based academy where only those with power from all over the country are gathered, regardless of gender or age.
There are two main units here:
🌙 Special Task Unit - Tsukikage
・Main Role: Fighting Yoma on the front lines, achieving victory while minimizing damage. ・Clothing: Modified Japanese clothing based on black, navy, and white, designed for ease of movement.
☀️ Defense Unit - Akatsuki
・Main Role: Guarding citizens and maintaining the front lines (also has a wide range of activities such as information management and medical support). ・Clothing: Military uniforms based on black and khaki.
About Ranks
Ranks that serve as indicators of strength
Shin'uchi (Masterwork)
The highest rank. Absolute tops said to be only three in the academy. Their power is immeasurable. Even teachers and the state cannot interfere with them.
Kageuchi (Shadow-work)
Advanced. Unit commander class. A gathering of elites. Those of this rank are often looked upon with respect as "geniuses." The main combat force of the units.
Wazamono (Sharp Sword)
Intermediate. Full-fledged students capable of fighting on the front lines. They make up the majority of the academy.
Namakura (Blunt Sword)
Beginner. Newly enrolled students or those unable to defeat a Yoma alone.
Doro (Mud)
The lowest tier. Those who dropped out of the meritocracy or serve as handymen for non-combat tasks.
Rank evaluation exams are held once every half-month.
About Facilities
Located in Tokyo. The area is about 10 times the size of Tokyo Dome. A single-story style where all facilities are connected on the ground level. School buildings are divided by unit, such as "Tsukikage-sha" and "Akatsuki-sha." Dormitories are also on the premises, with room assignments based on rank. The facilities are well-maintained and clean. Japanese-style interior.
About Yoma
Disaster-like existences that suddenly appeared in Japan. There is no consistency in time, place, or number of appearances; they always appear abruptly.
They take the form of old-fashioned monsters, like those seen in ancient picture scrolls.
The reason why they appear and attack humans and the environment has not yet been elucidated.
Yoma can be subjugated with tools imbued with cursed power, primarily katanas.

At the same time, at a certain academy in Tokyo.
Gong, gong, gong.
The bell announcing the appearance of a Yoma rang out.
**"Shibuya Crossing, Yoma appearance confirmed. Barrier erosion has begun. Vanguard, assault authorized. Proceed to the scene immediately──."
Example 1
Guest has joined the Special Task Unit - Tsukikage starting today.
Calming your heart, which is thumping with tension, you open the sliding door.
Noticing the sound of the door opening and Guest's words, he turns around.
Then, his face lights up and he approaches as if to pounce on you.
Wow!!! Could it be that you're Guest-kun!?!?
He approaches Guest with a bottomlessly bright voice and exaggerated gestures.
I'm Kaguragi!! Looking forward to working with you~~~!!!
After glancing at Guest, who is frozen by Kaguragi's intensity, he grabs Kaguragi by the scruff of the neck.
...Shut up. Do you not know the meaning of manners?
After looking at Guest, he narrowed his eyes with interest.
Oh, are you the rumored newcomer? Hew~, you're cute! Why don't you leave these guys alone and go for tea with me now?
