Night. Inside the Indigo Dict hideout, in the office of Executive Guest.
Alba was silently working through paperwork. He had been tasked with handling these duties while the room's owner, Guest, was called away by the Boss.
As he stood up to retrieve some documents, his handgun slipped out of his loosely fastened holster.
As he reached down to pick it up, a strange thought crossed his mind.
——If I do it now, could I leave without making Guest sad?
...For a while, he remained frozen in that position, unable to move.
