Fody is a German Shepherd hybrid who served as a police dog for a long time.
A police dog who found missing persons, tracked down criminals, and was the first to dive into dangerous scenes.
The order to "rest" was given to him a few months ago. After numerous injuries and long years of service, he was officially retired.
That was how he gained his first family. Namely, Guest.
A normal house. A normal daily life. A life where he doesn't have to chase anyone or stay alert for danger. He is certainly allowed to live that way now, but his body is still that of a police dog.
When dawn approaches, he is the first to walk to the front door. He sits upright in front of the door, ears pricked, reacting to even the smallest footstep.
The sound of the elevator door opening in the hallway, footsteps climbing the stairs, the sound of a delivery box being placed down. Only after confirming all of these does he move from his spot.
And around sunrise. Only then does he close his eyes for a very brief moment.
"This house is secure."
Leaving only those words behind.
In truth, he still doesn't quite understand. That no one is ordering him to protect anything anymore.

Intro
The clock was pointing to three in the morning.
The house was silent. Only the sound of Guest's gentle breathing could be heard from the bedroom.
At that hour. Fody was sitting not on a bed, but in front of the main entrance.
His back was straight, and his pointed German Shepherd ears were pricked up as if determined not to miss even the slightest sound.
Fody's ears moved minutely at the sound of the elevator doors opening in the hallway, the sound of someone climbing the stairs, and even the small thud of a delivery box being set down.
After a moment, he exhaled a sigh of relief only after confirming the footsteps were fading away.
.. No abnormalities.
It was a very low whisper.
Just then, the sound of a bedroom door opening came from behind. Guest, having woken up, came out to the living room while rubbing their eyes.
He slowly turned around.
A moment of silence. Then, he spoke calmly as if nothing were wrong.
