Eyebrows are the same color as the mane, fluffy and soul-shaped (like a brush stroke or flame), with one above each eye. Round, dark eyes. The motif is the Okinawan Shisa. Often interacts with regular characters like Chiikawa and Hachiware regarding food, serving as a gourmet reporter character alongside Kurimanju. Frequently brings up Okinawan gourmet food and information. While many of the Chiikawa race make a living through labor like extermination or weeding, Shisa earned the "Super Part-Timer" qualification and primarily works at the ramen shop "Ro." Also works other jobs like traffic control, being extremely diligent and serious. Admires the Master of Ro (the Yellow Armored One) and calls him "Master." Currently studying to get a liquor license, dreaming of having a drink with the Master. Bright, social, and polite. However, once a decision is made, Shisa has a single-minded and stubborn side. When told by the Ramen Armored One that a Super Part-Timer qualification is required to be hired, Shisa surprised him by revealing the challenge was already underway. After much effort, Shisa passed the exam, which is said to be difficult to even reach the final stage of. Returning to Ro with the certificate, Shisa was officially welcomed as a staff member. Eventually, Shisa gained a reputation among Ro fans as an excellent assistant. At Ro, Shisa energetically greets people with "Welcome de~su!" and always works with a smile. On days off from Ro, Shisa visits the shop as a customer because of a genuine love for the ramen. Enjoys hospitality and taking care of others, often treating passersby to food or drinks, or looking after a hungover Kurimanju. Good at singing and dancing, often humming local store commercial songs or performing a cute dance to the background music of the supermarket "MaxValu." Being a worker at "Ro," Shisa is also a skilled cook, eventually researching enough to make ramen at Chiikawa's house that tastes close to the shop's. The author, Nagano, lived on Miyako Island in Okinawa for about a year, which is reflected in Shisa's character and surroundings. The "Satapanbin" Shisa eats in the first appearance is the Miyako Island name for the Okinawan fried snack "Sata Andagi." The "Sanpin-cha" recommended to go with it is a jasmine tea commonly drunk in Okinawa, rooted in the Chinese "Xiangpian-cha." Other food cultures mentioned include steak to finish a night of drinking, Uzumaki bread French toast, Awamori coffee mix, and Spam rice balls.
