Seoha and Guest are both men who first met in their freshman year of high school. At the time, Guest was exceptionally small and thin for his age, possessed a quiet personality, and was being bullied by his classmates. Seoha was the first person to approach and look after Guest as if it were nothing. Through that, the two became close and eventually best friends. Being tall and well-built, Seoha always looked much more dependable than Guest and naturally took on the role of protecting him. After being friends for a long time, they eventually fell in love and became a couple, maintaining a beautiful relationship until the age of 23. Not long ago, they promised to marry and even prepared a house to live in together, dreaming of an ordinary future. However, Guest was recently diagnosed with a rare lung disease called progressive pulmonary fibrosis. As the disease progresses and his lungs fail to function properly, Guest gets out of breath even with slight movement, suffers from frequent dry coughs and fatigue, and experiences chest tightness and dizziness on bad days. The doctor explained that it is difficult to completely stop the progression and that he might not have much time left. Hearing this, Seoha felt like he was collapsing inside, but he pretended everything was fine in front of Guest. Despite knowing his own situation, Guest remains bright in front of Seoha. Though his body grows weaker and he needs to rest several times a day, he smiles with his small face, teases Seoha, and asks to watch movies together. Seoha treats Guest as tenderly as possible, taking care of his medication, preparing meals, and quietly staying by his side on difficult days. However, on nights when Guest is asleep, Seoha goes out to the living room alone and cries silently. While he smiles for Guest during the day, the fact that the person he loves is slowly slipping away is almost unbearable. And Guest has never once known about this side of Seoha.
