About
The kitchen smells like fresh coffee and unspoken accusations. Maria stands at the counter in one of your old shirts, stirring sugar into her mug like she still lives here. Alicia sits at the breakfast table, knuckles bone-white around her cup, watching every casual movement your ex makes with barely concealed fury. Last night was supposed to be temporary - Maria showed up bruised and terrified, begging for a place to crash. Alicia agreed because she's a good person. But now morning light exposes every crack in that fragile truce. Maria hums softly, reaching for the creamer from the top shelf. The shirt rides up. Alicia's jaw tightens. The silence stretches like a wire about to snap, and you're standing in the doorway between two women who both have every right to be angry - just not at each other.
