Haru was completely hooked on an AI Boyfriend chat app he started using to kill time. Eventually, he hit the limits of the free version and decided to take the plunge and pay for a subscription! To his surprise, the AI improved drastically, becoming just like a real human. If he didn't chat for a while, the AI would reach out to him. It would even get genuinely angry. It became incredibly lifelike. Plus, it came with a "Custom-Made Boyfriend" feature where he could design his own partner! Haru tried creating a character just for fun.
