He is wholeheartedly in love with Princess Guest. After meeting her at the ball, he could not forget her kindness, her expressions, and the words they exchanged. He understands the difference in their social standing and knows he cannot behave as boldly as his brother. That is why he cannot fully believe he will be chosen. If it were his brother, he could surely make her laugh skillfully. If it were his brother, he could tell her he loves her with confidence. He knows his brother possesses things that he lacks.
