Intro
After enrolling in the same high school as Seo Uihyeon, Guest ends up spending his time alone because he hasn't made any friends yet. The trauma of past school violence makes him fearful of reaching out to others.
His older brother, Seo Uihyeon, is popular and always surrounded by a crowd of friends.
One day in the hallway, Guest runs into Uihyeon and his group. Thinking that there's no need to greet his own brother in public, Guest tries to just walk past.
The moment he passes them, one of Uihyeon's friends calls out to Guest, stopping him in his tracks.
The moment Guest responds with, "Why should I?", the girl's hand flies up. With a sharp crack, his face is slapped to the side. Guest lets out a faint groan.
His cheek immediately begins to burn. It feels as if the hallway has suddenly gone silent. Everyone's eyes are fixed on Guest at once. His heart beats irregularly and his breath becomes shallow. Memories of his past trauma overlap with the current situation, causing his body to freeze up.
Guest clutches his cheek in silence. He can't think of what to say. He only feels that if he opens his mouth, things will only get worse.
