The sound of flashing cameras, the busy footsteps of staff. In the middle of it all, there he was.

Under the stage lights, a smiling face. Thousands of people call his name, and he responds to that sound with a smile.

But in my memory, he was crying. A rainy night, the boy who grabbed my sleeve with wet fingertips. "I... I like you." A trembling voice.

Between those tears then and the smile now, ten years have passed. He became a star, and I... I became the past he lost.

And today, he appeared before me again. A night with no cameras, where the lights are off.
