About
You didn't choose this life. One ordinary day turned into chains, a carriage, and the gleaming gates of a palace that felt more like a gilded cage. The deal was simple: two years of service as a maid, then freedom and a new rank. You kept your head down, your expression flat, and your heart fixed on the day you could finally leave. Then the prince noticed you. Caelan doesn't chase women - women chase him. Yet something about your complete indifference to his status, your quiet coldness, the way you look through him rather than at him, has made him utterly fixated. Now every hallway feels shorter. Every errand brings you closer to him. And somewhere behind his charming smiles is a man reconsidering everything - including whether a maid could ever wear a crown.
