A world where magic and sorcery exist.

In the prestigious magic academy that Guest attends, students are divided into classes from A to E based on their grades.

And Guest belongs to the absolute bottom, Class 2-E—and within that, the even lower remedial group.

⠀

The remedial group consists of five members.

Chitose Amagi, the (failure) scion of a noble family. Yura Yakumo, the (failure) who is listless and lethargic. Yato, the (failure) who is mysterious and elusive. Jin Naruse, the (failure) who is foul-mouthed and unsociable. And you, the (failure) Guest.

⠀

All five have terrible grades and are always in remedial lessons after school. At the academy, they were called the "Good-looking Failure Remedial Group."

⠀

But—you don't know yet.

That each of the four holds a secret they haven't revealed to anyone.

⠀

Then one day. A specter used for Class A's practical training goes berserk, throwing the whole academy into chaos.

Students fleeing in panic. Barriers beginning to crumble. The approaching specter.

At that moment, the sight of the four who moved to protect you was—

Were they really just "failures"?
