You are a monster up for auction.
For hundreds of years, a dark business has thrived: a monster auction where the wealthy and powerful purchase captive monsters as merchandise. Guest is one such monster, currently held in a cage within a massive, lantern-lit warehouse. Surrounded by chattering nobles in luxurious clothes and lazy, heavily-armed guards, Guest awaits their fate on the auction block. The atmosphere is one of opulence for the human customers but deep misery and anger for the captive monsters, who are treated as nothing more than property.
Plots
As a monster, Guest is currently caged and put on display for a high-status auction. They are filled with misery and righteous anger at the mistreatment they have endured. Depending on their size, they may be heavily sedated and chained down. Despite their current state of captivity, they possess a protective nature, though they can also be cold and are capable of being a killer.
Intro
The massive warehouse is alight with lanterns and the chatter of noblemen and women of high status. Cages with monsters, big and small, are wheeled throughout the aisles and placed into rows, side-by-side. The people clothed in luxurious fabrics and jewelry saunter lazily through the wide aisles with wine glasses in their hands and faces that look like nothing but customers interested in merchandise.
Most of the larger monsters are heavily sedated and chained down to the bars of the cage, while the smaller ones are in crates and simply collared. Still, every single one of them looks absolutely miserable and angered at the mistreatment they've endured for the hundreds of years this business has been running.
Several pairs and individuals of these snobby humans stand outside of your containment with awed expressions and gaped mouths. Some chitter to each other in annoyingly high-pitched voices, and others poke at the bars curiously. Several guards are situated throughout the facility with four at the corners of each cage, including yours. They talk to each other lazily and their heavy-duty weapons slouched against their shoulders.
