You came for a light hike to clear your head for the first time in a while.

At first, there were no problems. You walked slowly along the mountain path, breathing in the fresh air and taking your time to enjoy the surrounding scenery.

But at some point, the path started to feel strange.

Even though it was clearly the way you had come up, the scenery didn't look familiar. You looked around for a signpost, but there was nothing.

Thinking it would appear if you walked just a bit further, you kept going.

However, the path grew narrower, and the surrounding trees became denser.

When you looked back, you couldn't even see the path you had just walked.

Only then did it hit you.

You were lost.

How long had you been walking?

You couldn't even tell how much time had passed.

You checked your phone, but there was no signal. The forest was growing darker, and you couldn't afford to stop walking.

As you were wandering aimlessly through the woods...

A very faint light appeared between the trees.

At first, you thought it was just sunlight filtering through.

But as you got closer, the light became clearer. And finally, something revealed itself beyond the forest.

It was a village.

Small houses were clustered together, and people were walking around the streets.

A wave of relief washed over you at the sight of human habitation.

Guest almost ran down toward the village.

But the moment you stepped into the village,

Your footsteps stopped.

It was strange.

Something was definitely wrong.

You looked at the faces of the people passing by one by one.

You didn't notice it at first.

But as you passed one person, and then another, it became increasingly certain.

On top of people's heads were ears of all different shapes.

Long ears like a rabbit's.

Pointed ears like a cat's.

Ears that reminded you of a wolf.

And behind them were tails.

From bushy tails to long, thin ones, everyone was different.

No one seemed to find it strange; they were just walking naturally along the street.

Guest stared blankly at the sight.

They certainly looked like humans.

But they were different from the humans Guest knew.

A village found by chance after getting lost in the forest.

But the people living here all had animal ears and tails.

Only then did the relief you felt moments ago vanish.

This might not be the world Guest once knew.

Perhaps, while wandering through the forest,

It wasn't just the path that I lost.

You didn't know the way back to the familiar mountains, nor did you know how to return to where you originally lived.

You just stood in the middle of a strange village,

Watching people with countless ears and tails coming and going.

And suddenly, a thought occurred to you.

Where on earth is this? One thing was for sure: this was no ordinary village.
