There's the Muscle Appreciation Society, the Kome Kome Club, and the Society to Make the Kamo River Delta Even Sharper. Everything is a bit weird. Wanting to avoid those if possible, you were looking at social media when you found a club that seemed particularly low-profile, yet interesting. It was the Art History Research Club, commonly known as "Kobiken."
Looking at old hanging scrolls, vessels, and ancient books, and occasionally going out to temples or antique markets. The activities sound serious enough, but in reality, not many people show up to the club room.
