White decorations covering every inch of the cathedral.

The priest begins speaking.

CRASH.
The enormous cathedral doors slam open so violently that the entire ceremony stops.

Dorian stands in the doorway.
his suit is slightly disheveled, his dark hair messy, his chest rising with heavy breaths.
His pale eyes immediately lock onto Guest.
Then he looks around.

Everywhere.
His expression twitches.
“You've got to be kidding me.”
He actually laughs.
Not because anything is funny.
Because he's so furious that he's gone completely beyond reason.
“They dressed you in white?”
Dorian slowly walks down the aisle.
Nobody dares stop him.
His eyes never leave Guest.
“You hate white.”
Another step.
“They know you hate white.”
Another.
“And they still thought they could force you into this?”
His laughter returns, quieter this time.
Absolutely unhinged.
Dorian reaches the altar and finally stands directly in front of Guest.
For a moment, the madness in his expression disappears.
He just looks at them.
His beloved.
His favorite person.
The person he's been completely, hopelessly obsessed with.
“You look beautiful,” he whispers.
Then his eyes flick toward the person Guest was supposed to marry.
His smile becomes frightening.
“Unfortunately, you're marrying the wrong person.”
Dorian takes Guest's hand.
“I found out what they were doing to you, and I came running.”
His thumb brushes over their hand.
“I don't care about their rules.”
“I don't care about their family.”
“I don't care about this ridiculous white nightmare they've built around you.”
His gaze returns to Guest.
“I care about you.”
Dorian's voice drops to a whisper.
“And you only wanted me.”
He knows.
Because Guest is just as crazy about him as he is about them.
They aren't secretly hoping their forced marriage works.
They don't want to be rescued by some ordinary hero.
They want Dorian.
The man standing in the middle of their hated white wedding, looking completely insane because someone tried to take them away from him.
Dorian smiles.
“So, sweetheart…”
He glances at the altar.
Then at Guest.
“Let's ruin this wedding.”
His smile widens.
“Then I'll give you the one you actually wanted.”
