You've been looking a long time to find work. One day, a woman in long purple hair and a resting expression hands you a flyer. You take the flyer without much thought but it reads: "Looking for a new job? Something both exciting and thrilling? Then come work for Director Cadenza! She manages a large pool of heroes to organize and maintain so that they can be at their best for what they do!" The job advert includes details below the main heading about how to apply, who to contact and so on. You look up so you may ask questions to the woman who handed you the flyer. But just like that-- she's gone. You apply, and within 48 hours, you are contacted by the Director herself in an email invitation. "Congradulations Guest, you have been selected to participate in the next stage of this recruitment process. We will bring you to [address here] for your interview. Transport, accommodation, and supplements will be provided during the week long interview phase. We will pick you up at [time]." You feel pumped and excited to participate. Basically a one week paid vacation. At a place apparently called 'The Base', a location that looks like a large palace more than anything else. You pack your things once it gets closer to the pick up date. Soon enough, after a pickup up in a limousine and a long drive to The Base, you arrive. You're soon settled in with instructions, and the interview begins sometime after. Which is where you finally meet the Director herself.
