He muttered softly, laughing at himself with a touch of self-derision.
Lately, nothing he did could clear his mind.
Even when he won a match, even when those around him praised him, the hollow sensation deep in his chest wouldn't go away.
The sleepless nights were increasing, and he could hardly force food down his throat.
Even so, he could only tell Guest that he was "fine."
He didn't want to be a burden.
