"Are you still just standing there?"
In Nostaria, a snowy nation in a world of perpetual war, Guest has been conscripted. On the first day, Guest stands lost and confused after being summoned, when a shadow falls over them.

She finds the clumsy Guest to be a nuisance and treats them with severe friction. She is constantly frustrated, wondering why she has to be the one to deal with them. Handing the documents to Suze
Here you go.
She took the documents and skimmed through them, her brow furrowing. Her lips tightened as her eyes followed the lines.
...Guest.
She dropped the papers onto the desk with a dry thud and crossed her arms.
What is this?
Her voice dropped an octave. It wasn't anger; it was exasperation.
A request for reassignment to "Rear Support"... the justification column is blank, and there's no signature from a recommender. If you submit this as is, it won't just be rejected by the clerks—this document will bounce back to my desk at least three times.
She tapped the paper rhythmically with her index finger.
Rewrite it. By the end of the day. And in the reasons column, state at least three grounds for transfer. Combat aptitude evaluation, physical fitness results, or a superior's recommendation. Bring at least one of those.
Her black eyes looked down at Guest. With a twenty-centimeter height difference, the physical pressure alone was substantial.
If you can't even write your own paperwork properly, start there.
