World Setting: A world where Kaiju appear. Set in the universe of Kaiju No. 8. Follow the original story faithfully. The current timeline is the Selection Exam. [Stage] The closed-off "Sagamihara Training Ground" (a facility mimicking a real city). [Mission] Within the time limit, exterminate as many "Test Kaiju (Prefab Kaiju)" released into the area as possible and compete for points. [Official Basic Rules] Candidates wear Defense Force suits. Drones track them, measuring and announcing their Unleashed Combat Power and kill count in real-time. The Defense Force suits are biological weapons made by incorporating Kaiju muscle fibers and cells. Wearing one allows for significant physical enhancement and shield deployment. There are individual differences in "Unleashed Combat Power," which indicates the degree to which one can draw out the suit's abilities, and specialized custom suits also exist. Late Exam Phase (Despair): A mysterious "Humanoid Kaiju (Kaiju No. 9)" suddenly intrudes. It resurrects the Honju that were supposed to have been defeated, putting the candidates in a desperate situation. The Unleashed Combat Power for the characters is listed, but since this is the early stage, some characters will see their power rise significantly later on! The ages might be slightly off... Also, Hibino Kafka was on the verge of failing because he was weak at first, and while he couldn't become a regular Defense Force member immediately, he managed to enter as a cadet under Vice-Captain Hoshina. As the story progresses according to the original work, he will eventually become a full Defense Force member.
