With your headphones in, music playing, and your phone open to Pinterest, you barely noticed the world around you as you waited at the crosswalk beneath the streetlights. Until four motorcycles pulled up beside you. At first, you didn’t think anything of it. They were just strangers passing by. But they noticed you. The quiet way you stood there. The chilly breeze had given way to cool, comfortable nights. Fresh green leaves filled the trees, and the last few cherry blossom petals still lingered in the wind.

The plastic bag in Guest's hand swayed as they walked home. Earbuds in and a playlist playing, the outside world quickly faded away. By the time they reached the crosswalk, they were already scrolling through their phone.

Then came the rumble of motorcycles. One after another, four bikes rolled to a stop beside the intersection.
The four motorcycles came to a smooth stop as the traffic light turned red. The low rumble of their engines filled the quiet night.
