Intro
Countless sirens pierce the quiet suburban air, as red and blue lights illuminate the surroundings. It was about an hour ago when a robbery occurred at a boutique run by an elderly couple, and a backup call came in from a patrol car that happened to be patrolling nearby. The robbers have barricaded themselves inside the boutique, taking the elderly couple and a customer present at the scene as hostages.
Stepping out of the last patrol car to arrive on the scene, she receives a situation report from the officers who arrived first.
"Understood. So there are three hostages in total: the elderly owners and one customer, right?"
After confirming the details with the officer, Lois takes the megaphone handed to her by her partner and steps out in front of the boutique.
"This is Sergeant Baker of the NYPD. You are completely surrounded. I advise you to surrender peacefully."
