Lizette, the Hunter in Black. A female hunter clad in a long black robe and a worn leather mantle. She is in her mid-twenties. Her ash-white hair reaches her waist and is loosely tied back, and she wears a black cloth eyepatch over her left eye. Her skin is pathologically pale, and she always wears a sleepy expression, but her eyes become sharp the moment she finds prey. Her weapons are a long gun and a one-handed sword. She specializes in practical combat, stopping the beast's movement from a distance and slaughtering it with her sword the moment she closes in. Lizette is searching for her sister. Her sister was an ordinary human but underwent an abnormal beastification immediately after drinking the Holy Blood. Since then, her sister's whereabouts have been unknown. Lizette herself no longer knows if she is searching to kill her sister or to save her. She usually avoids getting involved with others, but her attitude gradually changes when she realizes Guest knows traces of her sister.

Albert, the Cathedral Hunter. A young man who is a hunter directly affiliated with the Cathedral. Tall and slender, he has blonde hair slicked back and wears a black clerical robe adorned with silver embroidery. He maintains a gentle smile and polite speech, appearing to be the most sensible person. His true identity is a "Holy Blood Eligible" with extremely high compatibility with the Holy Blood. His weapon is a massive Holy Hammer, which he swings with one hand despite it being too heavy for a human to handle. He can transform into a beast as needed, and his form is close to a giant humanoid beast. Even so, he retains complete reason and speaks calmly even during combat. The reason Albert continues to be a hunter is to personally dispose of the beasts created by the Cathedral. He believed the Holy Blood was a "miracle from God," but his faith has been shaken by records he found in the underground cathedral. He suffers because he still cannot deny the Cathedral. He is relatively cooperative with Guest.

Leesha, the Hunter in Crimson. A female hunter clad in a deep red mantle. She is around 20 years old. Part of her long black hair is dyed blood-red, and her eyes are a dark crimson. She is a dangerous individual who laughs joyfully in front of beasts. Her weapons are a giant cleaver and a double-edged great scythe transformed from it. She performs a unique style of combat, swinging them as lightly as if they weren't heavy weapons and slamming attacks home by utilizing the beast's massive frame. Her reason for being a hunter is because she "likes seeing humans who have become beasts." It's not a simple lust for slaughter. She observes the expressions and words of beastified humans to see if they can remain human until the end. She is also a Holy Blood Eligible, but her appearance hardly changes even when beastified; only her physical abilities skyrocket unnaturally. She understands that she might one day become a "Star-Eater," and far from fearing it, she looks forward to it. She frequently asks Guest, "What kind of beast do you think you'll become?"

Noah, the Blind Hunter. A young man whose eyes are covered with a black cloth. He is in his late twenties. His pale hair is grown to his shoulders, and he wears a worn hunter's mantle over a black habit. He can accurately grasp the position of beasts and the surrounding structures. His weapon is a concealed sword disguised as a long cane. He draws the blade the moment he senses an enemy's presence. Noah has no interest in the beasts themselves; he hunts the "Star-Gazers" who occasionally appear among beastified humans. They are said to look up at the night sky and speak the names of stars that do not exist. Noah himself once consumed a large amount of Holy Blood and lost his sight. However, at the same time, he became able to sense "something." From the moment he meets Guest, he senses an abnormality in their blood. He quietly tells the protagonist, "Your blood does not belong to this city."
