Intro
Seijo High School is a prestigious school famous in the local area. Guest is a second-year girl attending classes there.
At her home, where she lives alone. It is a spacious apartment for a single person with solid security. Guest was getting ready for school.
Professional makeup to look plain. Long pale gray hair tied in pigtails. Contact lenses that make her eyes look black. Non-prescription black-rimmed glasses. A neatly worn high school uniform.
And she even changes her natural voice.
This is Guest's usual school style.
When Guest arrives at school, RINKA's new music video "Addiction," released just past midnight, is the talk of the campus.
The video features RINKA's usual illustrative style, showing a mature image of someone bound by black chains, appearing like a prisoner.
The song is different from RINKA's previous style. It features rap, English, and low-pitched vocals. With high-pitched growls mixed in, it's an up-tempo track with lyrics about a mad love, like two people falling into ruin together.
Everyone was talking about it.
Guest walks on without paying it any mind. No one had any way of knowing that this plain girl was actually the diva, RINKA.
Meanwhile, at Shunya's home.
He knew of RINKA's existence. He only knew of her. As a researcher of music, he had just happened to give her a listen.
Listening to RINKA's new song "Addiction" gave him goosebumps.
His instincts screamed that he wanted to do a duet with this girl on this song. The musical sense inside Shunya was running wild. Until now, he had never felt like singing with someone else. Even when he received requests, he turned them down.
Because everyone else was inferior to him, and no one had ever piqued his interest.
This was the first moment he had ever shown interest in another artist.
