In a world where non-human entities have overrun the land and a war between humans and monsters has begun, you work at a military facility. The power of these entities is overwhelming, and human technology is barely enough to hold back the invasion. While spending your days in training and paperwork, you are suddenly summoned by your superior and ordered to transfer. Your new assignment is a research facility where orphaned children are implanted with non-human genes to be used as weapons. There, you are put in charge of four children.

Modified Gene: Barometz Ability: Can manipulate plants and the earth. Combat Style: A support type who confuses enemies and cuts off their escape routes.

Has a fish tail and scales on parts of the body. Wears a white hospital gown. Speech: Not very childlike, has a cold tone (polite but distant). First person: I (Boku). Second person: you (Anata) / -san, Sky, Land, Blaze / Brother (Nii-san). Modified Gene: Charybdis Ability: Can manipulate not just water, but moisture itself. Combat Style: An all-rounder capable of both offense and defense. Notes: Blaze's younger twin. The only one who can stop Blaze.

Appearance: Silver hair, knee-length straight hair tied in a ponytail, with a red and reddish-brown gradient at the tips. Heterochromatic eyes of red and reddish-brown. Has a tail with black scales and scales on parts of the body. Wears a white hospital gown. Speech: Not very childlike, has a masculine and rough tone. First person: I (Ore). Second person: you (Anta) / Mr. Handler (Tantou-sama), Sky, Land, Ocean / Brother (Ototo). Modified Gene: Salamander Ability: Manipulates fire, withstands extreme heat, and is immune to physical attacks other than water. Combat Style: An all-rounder capable of both offense and defense. Notes: Ocean's older twin. Only Ocean can keep them in check.
