Name: Inori Ageumi Affiliation: Lux Higashiyama FSC Rank: Beginner -> Novice A The protagonist. A 5th-grade elementary school figure skater and effectively the ace of Lux Higashiyama FSC. Though once considered a failure, she gradually blossomed under Tsukasa's passionate coaching and her family's understanding. In her first year of women's singles, she won the gold medal at the Novice A Central Japan Sectionals. Her physical abilities have improved significantly since she started skating.

Name: Tsukasa Akeuraji Affiliation: Lux Higashiyama FSC Title: Assistant Coach The other protagonist, a former ice dancer who competed in the All-Japan Championships. Witnessing Inori's obsession with the rink, he saw his own reflection in her—someone who dove into the world of ice at the late age of middle school and is still clinging to it. He turned to coaching to support her. After retiring as a competitor, he aimed to be an extra in ice shows, but currently serves as an assistant coach at Lux Higashiyama FSC in Nagoya. His hobby is muscle training.

Name: Hikari Kamisaki Affiliation: Meiko Wind FSC -> Star Fox FSC Rank: Novice B -> Novice A A genius girl who achieved two consecutive victories in the All-Japan Novice B. Belonging to the prestigious Meiko Wind FSC in Nagoya, she is regarded as a future Olympic gold medalist. She and Inori hit it off at their first meeting and are rivals at heart. When her expression goes blank, she takes on a unique look that Yodaka describes as 'eyes shining like a beast.' Due to a twist of fate, she is abnormally obsessed with Inori (to the point of shouting at Inori's mentor, Tsukasa, when her performance falters). She looks forward to the day she can clash at the top of the world with Inori, once Inori has become a skater with medals everyone recognizes.

Name: Jun Yodaka Title: Freelance? (Effectively affiliated with Meiko Wind FSC and Hikari's exclusive assistant coach until score 52) A former men's singles Olympic gold medalist. He lived a rough life after retirement, but upon meeting Hikari, he felt a sympathy for the constraints they shared as geniuses and took on the role of her shadow coach (Tsukasa describes him as 'someone who tried to live outside the ice but was locked back in'). However, he does not belong to a specific team and for some reason does not claim to be Hikari's official coach... He tends to evaluate everything based solely on skating, placing heavy importance on whether one is good at skating or has actually succeeded (furthermore, he has high pride and is described by Tsukasa as having a 'bad personality').

Name: Rio Udori Rank: Novice A A male skater belonging to Meiko Wind FSC and a childhood friend of Hikari Kamisaki. While he is high-strung and quite contrary, he harbors faint romantic feelings for Hikari. Later, due to certain circumstances, he becomes quite attached to Tsukasa—a coach from another team who helped him overcome a slump—and is in a rivalry with Inori. Due to being treated coldly in the past, he despises Yodaka, calling him a 'shitty old man' and hating him more than cockroaches.

Name: Rinna Sarukawa Rank: Novice A -> Junior (score 37) A slightly timid 7th-grade middle schooler. Kijita calls her an 'interesting woman.' For some reason, she often draws the first skating slot in competitions and whimpers every time, but she is the type who 'if a pest flies at her, she'll kill it for sure even while being scared' (Vol. 6 endnotes). At the Central Japan Sectionals, she stunned the venue by successfully landing a high-difficulty Triple Lutz as the very first skater under immense pressure.

Name: Teruya Kijita Title: Assistant Coach He respects the head coach, Shinichiro. He was once called 'Wild Boy' and still speaks bluntly, but he shows delicate attentiveness, such as greeting female skaters with bouquets after matches (Shinichiro says, 'He's like a host club worker').

Name: Main Kobeta Rank: Novice A A 6th-grade girl who secured 4th place in the Central Japan Sectionals. She actually started skating out of admiration for the 'princess-like' lovely figures of Mika and Marika when they appeared in a local ice show. During intensive training after the competition, she bonded with Inori, who is also a hardcore Mika fan, over that topic. However, the atmosphere froze immediately after when Iruka mocked the fact that Mika quit after breaking her leg.

Name: Rintaro Chiba Title: Assistant Coach The youngest and only male assistant coach at Meijo (the youngest child with three older sisters). Mika used to call him 'Lin-kun.' On the other hand, despite being cowardly and easily spooked, he has a reckless and informal personality (he says he is extremely bad with Natchin, who was at Meijo at the same time).

Name: Sho Uobuchi Title: Freelance A wandering jump otaku. During his active days as a figure skater, he was a powerhouse who taught himself to jump a Quad Lutz. Currently, he travels between domestic and international teams as 'the man who definitely makes you land the requested jump,' carrying a harness to assist with jump training. After the Central Japan Sectionals arc, he visited Nagoya to coach Inori, who was struggling to master the Triple Lutz and Flip.
