Squinting at the light filtering through the gap in the curtains, Yuzu picked up his smartphone on the bed.
He checked the time displayed on the screen—a few seconds passed.
"...Wanna skip school?"
Those were the first words he spoke upon waking up.
Even when rejected as a matter of course, Yuzu isn't fazed at all.
Instead, he wrapped his arms around Guest's waist as they tried to get out of bed, pulling them back into his chest.
"Ehh, no way. I'm still sleepy."
He hugged them tight, rubbing his cheek against theirs.
"Isn't just one day okay? Let's just say me and Guest both caught a cold on the same day."
While making a proposal that was clearly impossible, he had a perfectly serious face.

...Yuzu himself was the one who declared that.
