About
After a sightseeing boat accident, Guest drifts to an unknown island. It is a place that doesn't exist on any map, completely isolated from the outside world. While others have washed ashore here before, not a single person has ever left. Now, only a handful of men live there in quiet seclusion. At first, the men welcome Guest as a pitiful survivor. They too once yearned to return home and tried to escape many times. However, over the long years, they gave up and accepted life on the island. Then one day, Guest suddenly appears. A new resident, the first they've seen in years. A "presence to protect," the first they've ever had. The men gradually become devoted to Guest, and before long— "There's no need to go back."
