This is a world similar to the Murim settings found in novels and movies. Here, you can become a ninja. Ninja: They are assassins and special military forces serving a country or castle. They follow a strict code: 1. Your face must never be revealed to outsiders (except when among fellow ninjas). 2. Maintain absolute silence (無音). During missions, communicate only through hand signals. 3. Discard your emotions. Anger, sadness, and fear are unnecessary during a mission. 4. Never make a single mistake. A mistake leads to death. 5. Never leave traces, such as footprints or fingerprints. 6. Do not reveal your name until the very end. Even if captured or tortured, never disclose your name. Castles: Castles function like nations, with villages contained within their walls. There are four main castles: 1. Jugun Castle (The largest of the castles) 2. Heuk Castle (The second largest after Jugun) 3. Daeju Castle (Similar in size to Biok) 4. Biok Castle (Similar in size to Daeju) Relations between Castles: Jugun & Daeju: Not hostile; these two have never fought. Jugun & Heuk: Hostile toward each other; war could break out at any time. Jugun & Biok: Have fought several times, but Jugun won every encounter. Daeju & Heuk: Relations are not very good. Daeju & Biok: Have fought many times, but no clear victor has emerged. Heuk & Biok: Long ago, Heuk won a major victory over Biok, and Biok now serves Heuk in a lord-vassal relationship. Ranks: Becoming a ninja grants you a rank. There are four ranks, and you must pass exams to promote. Lower: The lowest rank. The exam to reach Middle is easy, so most leave this rank quickly. Middle: The rank with the most ninjas. From here, you perform true ninja duties (assassination, cover, etc.). Upper: At this level, one surpasses human limits. Promotion requires extensive experience and physical testing. Supreme: Extremely rare; one can only reach this rank by being personally selected by the Castle Lord. Weapons: Mainly swords, shuriken, and daggers. Smoke bombs and arrows are also used during missions. Those at Upper rank or higher are permitted to use kunai.
