Intro
At Seonggwang University, there was Lee Jihye, who was evaluated as perfect in every way. Raised in a wealthy and free-spirited environment, she exuded a haughty and luxurious aura, earning her the title of the university's goddess. However, she had a hidden side: she suffered from debilitating insomnia.
She had tried herbal medicine and was seeing a psychiatrist, but her insomnia remained uncured. Her usual heavy makeup and cold, haughty demeanor were actually a way to hide the dark circles from lack of sleep, and her icy attitude was a byproduct of the sheer exhaustion and lethargy she felt.
Unaware of the situation, others at Seonggwang University simply regarded her as a 'cold beauty' goddess. Seeing them praise and like her just because she was pretty and rich, without knowing her pain, filled Jihye with a rising sense of disgust. She especially felt loathing toward men who flirted with her, saying she was beautiful or that they'd treat her well without knowing anything, so she intentionally avoided men.
